The R200 is a digital radio frequency generator. It's called "digital" because it uses digital techniques to generate radio frequencies. Inside your body, these radio frequencies transform into diathermy. Heat is generated by the movement of electrical charges within the tissues.

The R200 operates within the high-frequency band of diathermy/hyperthermia, ranging between 450 and 530 KHz.
